Dr. Eberle first began her academic journey by attending Northwestern University for her undergraduate studies, where she laid the foundation for her future success. While volunteering at Northwestern University’s Dental School as a college student, she confirmed her love for working with people and making a difference in their lives. She graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Northwestern University. Inspired by her dad, who is an orthodontist in her native Anchorage, Alaska, combined with a passion for dentistry, Dr. Eberle pursued her dental education at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics. Driven by a desire to specialize and excel in orthodontics, Dr. Eberle continued her education with a residency in Orthodontics at the University of Iowa. This intensive program allowed her to hone her expertise in the field of orthodontics, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to the latest advancements.
One of the noteworthy achievements in Dr. Eberle’s career is her status as a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. This certification is a testament to her commitment to excellence and adherence to the highest standards in orthodontic practice. The rigorous certification process involved demonstrating a deep understanding of orthodontics, clinical proficiency and a commitment to continuing education.
Throughout her career, Dr. Nicole Eberle has been dedicated to providing exceptional orthodontic care to her patients. Dr. Eberle is continually inspired by her parents. Her dad, an orthodontist in Anchorage, Alaska, is the best clinical orthodontist she knows. He is not only a board certified orthodontist, but a member of the prestigious Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontists. She feels very lucky to have a personal consultant! Following in her dad’s footsteps, Dr. Eberle graduated from dental school with numerous awards and as the valedictorian of her class. Thus far, Dr. Eberle and her dad, Dr. Kenneth Eberle, are the only father-daughter duo to graduate at the top of their respective classes at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. She was also inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Following successful completion of her board exam, Dr. Eberle was also invited to begin the intense seven year process to become a member of the Midwest Component of the Edward H. Angle Society, an elite group of orthodontists from all over the world who have not only earned board certification, but have demonstrated exceptional proficiency in clinical orthodontic treatment and knowledge of growth and development of the craniofacial complex. Her mom is a source of endless encouragement and ideas. She did everything possible to help Dr. Eberle achieve her personal and professional goals.
Dr. Eberle is married to fellow Northwestern alum, Matt, and they have three daughters: Brynn, Rylie, and Emilia. While not in the office, Dr. Eberle can be found traveling, skiing, fishing for halibut and salmon in her native Alaska, attending Northwestern events (there’s a lot of purple at their house) or cooking big meals for family and friends.
